This unrealized work is one of the most challenging tasks mousegraphics has undertaken: to redesign the packaging of a globally famous tech item in a way that would fire the imagination and secure the loyalty of old and new users. 

We had to consider a design system that could gradually be built across several tech products and convey high innovation, singular intelligence and unique style. 

We decided to let the ‘unpacking experience’ guide our design process. 

We focused on the movement of our hands when they first trace the most striking, the sharpest aspects of such an object of high technology. 

We then used the combination of infographics and photography, in order to transfer these movements to the packaging surface and create the visual equivalent of this fascinating experience of unpacking and discovery. We focused on the most sophisticated viewpoints and suggestive angles of the product and decided that its most essential features and outlines should emerge almost like flashes of light and vision out of a totally black surface. 

If anticipation is what mostly characterizes our relationship to technological advances we made this packaging design the absolute vehicle of such feeling and an amplifier of the mystery and consumer participation involved.
